He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Leo Schneider of Weimar and Anna Marie Bednarz of Schulenburg; and his wife Kathryn Janet Muzny Schneider. He is survived by: his daughters, Lara Elizabeth Kearney (Donald) of League City and Paula Schneider Alexander (Bruce) of Durham; his grandchildren, Brendan Michael Kearney, Erin "Nikki" Kearney Evans, Nathan Avery Alexander and Kathryn Ann Alexander; and his brothers, Arland and Thomas Schneider.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests, with gratitude, that memorial contributions be directed to the Texas A&M Foundation (http://give.am) where they will be applied to the Kathryn & Marvin J. Schneider '60 General Rudder Corps Scholarship or the Kathryn & Marvin J. Schneider '60 Endowed Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering. Donations may also be made in Marvin's memory to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation and the National Kidney Foundation.
