We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2025, at the age of 79, Wayne Phillips of Wellington, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Wayne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Wayne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miller L. Phillips and Alice Ferguson Phillips; his wife Marilyn Russ; and his daughter Lori Beth Phillips. He is survived by: his son Cody Phillips (Kim) of Wellington; his grandchildren, Barret Phillips and Brynlee Phillips; and his sisters, Rosetta Bridges of Amarillo, Audrey Kerbo of Plainview and Evelyn Kay Broughton of Houston.
