He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Mamie Marie Emerson Grubbs; and his former wife Nell Rose Grubbs. He is survived by: his wife Daisy Grubbs of Wells; his daughters, Jill (Wendell Smith) and Shere (James Harper); and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Smith, Caroline, Carson Tomson, Lanny David, Bethany Antley and Citori Antley. He is also survived by 4 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Forest Baptist Church (978 FM 1911, Alto, TX 75925). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
