He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Saenz and Juanita Saenz (Tamez); and his siblings, Beto Saenz, Fred Saenz, Ernestina Saenz and Elvia Cisneros.
He is survived by: his wife Aurora Saenz; his daughters, Suzanne Saenz (Timothy Brown), Cynthia Saenz (Paul Weathers) and Josie Beltran (Gregory Reise); his siblings, Guadalupe Saenz Jr. (Edna), Eva Hernandez (Feliciano "Chano") and Esmeralda Mohena (Victor); his grandchildren, Zachary (Ariel), Lauren Hernandez (Cameron Casanova), Matthew Lemon (Jessica), Angel, Isabella and Santiago Zozaya; and his siblings, McKenzie and Marcus Lemon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
