She was predeceased by : her grandfathers, Ezequiel Saenz Sr. and Everardo Arredondo; and her great-grandparents, Agustin, Pascuala Caballero, Ricardo, Julia Garcia, Jose, Maria Villarreal, Mariano and Petra Saenz.

She is survived by : her parents, Ezequiel Saenz Jr. and Sylvia Saenz of Weslaco, Texas.; her daughters, Madeline Julia (Maddie) and Isabella Grace (Bella); her husband James Vernon Smith III (Trey); her sister Julissa Saenz-Feeney (Patrick); her nieces, Nicole and Brooke; her grandparents, Julian, Benita Garcia and Guadalupe Arredondo; her grandfather-in-law Alice Smith; her parents-in-law, Edgar and Suzanne King; and her siblings-in-law, Lainie Byrnes (Robert), Kristin Martin (Homer), Virginia Birnbaum (Alexander) and Kyle Smith (Mary Claire). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
