We announce the death of Caleb Medrano (Weslaco, Texas), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 28. Caleb will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Hilario Medrano; his grandparents, Tiburcio, Eulalia Medrano, Santana and Margarita De Leon; and his aunt Rosalba Delgado.

He is survived by: his mother Graciela De Leon; his wife Linda Medrano; his son Moises Isidoro Medrano; his brother Josue Medrano (Marlene Campos); his nephew Jayden Medrano; and his nieces, Madison Medrano and Marlette Medrano.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel Of (2929 W Expy 83, Weslaco, TX 78599). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (6705 N Farm To Market 88, Weslaco, TX 78599).
