She was predeceased by: her parents, Candido Ybarra and Dionicia Ybarra (Martinez); her husband Francisco Trejo Rodriguez; and her brothers, Candido Ybarra, Pedro "Pete" Ybarra, Joel Martinez and Leo Ybarra.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse Rodriguez, Melissa Rodriguez and Christine "Tina" Garcia (Lucas); her siblings, Marie "Josie" Josephine Avina (Richard), Rogelio "Roy" Martinez (Linda), Diana Angel, Nora Ybarra, Frances Bustos, Elizabeth Ybarra and Santiago Ybarra (Gail); and her sister-in-law Paulina Ybarra. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A rosary was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 7:00 PM. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (109 S Illinois Ave, Weslaco, TX 78596).
