He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Sánchez; his children, Miguel Ángel Terán Sánchez (María García), Luisana Terán Sánchez (Pedro Hernández) and Erika Terán Sánchez (Ricardo Reyes); and his siblings, Manuel Terán Aguilar, Jesús Terán Aguilar, Ramiro Terán Aguilar, María Victoria Terán Aguilar and Ángeles Terán Aguilar. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
