With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Bowen (West Columbia, Texas), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sadie Viola Sullivan and William Jefferson Bowen; and his siblings, William, Lloyd and Alba.

He is survived by : his wife Diann Bowen; his children, Lisa Donise Nickelson (Larry), Dena Leigh Bowen and David Darius Bowen II (April); his grandchildren, David Joshua Earley (Jana) and Parker Ryan Nickelson (Adrianna Moralez); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Aubrey and Kylie; and his siblings, Raymond, Janice and Curtis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
