He was predeceased by : his parents, Waldo Edling and Viola Edling; his son Slade; and his sister Peggy Powers. He is survived by : his children, Shannon Edling of West Columbia, Chad Edling (Catrina) of Angleton and Dr. Julie George (Trevor George) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Brittany, Cassidy, Corbin, Cobey, Celeste, Remi and Brinley; and his sister Rosalea Vencil of Needville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
