He was predeceased by : his parents, Foster Brooks and Lela Brooks (McClammer). He is survived by : his wife Kay Brooks; his sons, Curtis Brooks of La Vista, Neb and Kelly Brooks (Sandy) of Lake Jackson; his siblings, Mike Brooks of Columbia, Patty Gosdin (Mike) of Shreveport, LA and Tom Brooks (Lori) of Murphy, NC.; his grandchildren, Sara Kay Martinez (Alex) of Rosharon, TX, Joshua Brooks of Lake Jackson and Genaro Ortiz of Austin, TX.; and his great grandchildren, Emiliana and Emmanuel Martinez.
