He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Garrett and Edna Garrett; his wife Winnie Sharp; and his daughter Stacey. He is survived by: his sons, James, John and Steve Garrett. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery (2312 Irving St, West Orange, TX 77630).
