He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McCarty and Virgia McCarty (Earnest). He is survived by: his sister Patricia McFarland (Allan); his daughters, Shannon Hartlep and Debbie Ferrell; and his granddaughter Celia Wynn-Gould. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prairie Grove Cemetery Association.
