He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Gerick and Annie Rafaj Gerick; his wife Virginia; his siblings, Edwin Gerick and Annette Maloy (Hugh Maloy); his brother-in-law Al Ludwig; and his niece Kristine Ludwig.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Brittany Weaver (Bobby); his siblings, Milam Gerick (Mary Ann) and Mary Lou Ludwig; and his sister-in-law Pat Gerick. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
