Janie Pierce Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 26, 2025, at the age of 86, Janie Pierce (West, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Maass (Groppe) and Herman Maass; her husband Dr. Billy Don Pierce; and her siblings, Dwayne "Pete" Maass, Margie Morgan (Maass), Clyde Maass and Sue McGirk (Maass).
She is survived by: her children, Douglas W. Pierce of Brenham, David A. Pierce of West and Paula Pierce Snokhous of Aquilla; her grandsons, Payton Snokhous (Remmington) of Abbott and Pierce Snokhous of Ft. Worth; and her sister Angela Steinkamp (Rick) of Crawford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist of West, St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Malone, Parkinson's Research Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
