Joyce Lenart Obituary
We announce the death of Joyce Lenart (West, Texas), who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 86. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Pustejovsky (Roznovsky) and Louis Pustejovsky; her husband Joe Lenart; her daughter Mary; her sister Gladys Picha; and her siblings-in-law, Bernard Lenart, Sr., Mary and Helen Lenart.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Lenart (Leslie) of Waco, Texas, Anthony Lenart (Elizabeth) of Plano, Texas, Richard Lenart of Fort Worth, Texas and Angela Smith (Colin) of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Patrick, Jack Lenart, Brendan and Abby Smith; her great grandchildren, Ella, C. J., Emmy, Clayton and Paisley Lenart; her sisters, Betty White (Ken) and Carolyn Keating; and her brothers-in-law, George Picha and Raymond Lenart (Sarah). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (601 W Houston St, Abbott, TX 76621).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (https://donorservices.alz.org) or the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott, Texas. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
