He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Maler and Jimmie Dae Maler (Altum); and his siblings, Elizabeth Maler, Linda Whalen, Albert Jr., Charles, John Earl, Joe Edd, Jerry, James, Jimmy and Stephen Maler.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Detterman Reichelt; his daughters, Lana Green (Robert "Woody"), Debbie Sullivan (Mike) and Carla Payne (Robby); his granddaughter Tina Green; his sisters, Beulah Zahirniak (Bill "Pee Wee"), Beverly Keen and Janet Peterson; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Jeanie" Maler, Doris Maler and Terri Maler Blevins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association or the West Volunteer Fire Department.
