He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Skinner and Florence Skinner (Henderson); his brother Lynn Skinner; and his daughters-in-law, Paula Skinner and Crystal Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Skinner of West; his children, Emil Skinner Sr. of West, Lynn Skinner (Lynn) of West and James Skinner (Rita) of West; his grandchildren, Nathan Skinner, Katherine Skinner, Zachary Skinner, Amanda Skinner, Patricia Skinner, Rachael Skinner and Emil Skinner Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Hegar, David Hegar and Nancy Marsh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
