We announce the death of Lucille Uptmore (West, Texas), who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kubacak and Mary Kubacak (Smajstrla); and her siblings, Raymond Sr., Alphonse, George, Charlie Kubacak, Irene Devers and Barbara Recek.

She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Big Ern" Uptmore; her children, Ernest "Inky" Uptmore (Debbie) of Ross, Debbie Henry (John) of Leander and Gary Uptmore (Laura) of West; her grandchildren, Chance Vrba, Brad Uptmore (Emera Schrantz), Kristin Jennings, Garrett Uptmore (Katie Cox) and Hannah Uptmore (Logan Carns); and her great grandchildren, Marley, Dylan, Van "Shuggie", Landon and Alexander Uptmore. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
