He is survived by: his wife Caroline Sembera Matthys; his daughters, Debra Kay Hafer (Mike) of Richmond Texas and Loretta Ann Flynn (Keith) of Wharton Texas; his brother-in-law Edward Sembera (Bert) of Atlanta Georgia; his grandchildren, Aaron Hafer (Natasha) of Richmond Texas, Brett Hafer (Haley) of Richmond Texas, Shea Flynn of Istanbul and Devyn Flynn of Wharton Texas; and his great grandchildren, Brylee Hafer, Hudson Hafer, Dutton Hafer, Camber Hafer and Allie Hafer of Richmond Texas.
