She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Norman Sr.; her parents, Otis Williams and Mary Williams; her son Kevin Darnell Norman; and her siblings, Otis Williams Jr., Odessa Williams-Nelson and Deborah Ann Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Sanford (Leroy) of Wharton, Donald Norman Jr. (Kioka) of Hitchcock, Joyce Norman of Hitchcock and Emanda Shelton (Robert) of Victoria; and her sisters, Esther Glaspie, Jacqueline Williams and Marilyn Williams-Mason. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ben Davis Funeral Home (1914 N Richmond Rd, Wharton, TX 77488). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Camp Zion Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church (6400 W FM 1161 Rd, Wharton, TX 77488).
