He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Kocian and Lottie Bujnoch Kocian; his brothers, C. J. Kocian, Leroy Kocian, Sr. and Emanuel Kocian (Betty); his brother-in-law Floyd Gulling; his sister Leona Boone (Henry); and his brother-in-law Willie Machicek.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Kocian; his children, Jamie Kocian Bradley (Carl) of Round Rock and Scott Kocian (Anna Krenek); his grandchildren, Kelsey Welch (Kipp) of Burr and Lance Kocian of San Marcos; his great grandchild Kooper Welch; his sisters, Theresa Hundl (Gilbert) of Wharton, Katherine Paul of East Bernard, Mary Machicek (Joe) of Shiner, Gladys Machicek of Shiner and Joan Gulling of Bedias; his sisters-in-law, Sophia Kocian and Delores Kocian of Wharton; and his brother Ervin Kocian (Gloria) of San Antonio.
