He was predeceased by: his brothers, Curtis Eugene Kemper, David Young Kemper, Jr. and Jerry Miles Kemper. He is survived by: his siblings, Ernestine Kemper Johnson (Brian) and Gregory Theodore Kemper; and his nieces and nephews, Johnny, T. J., Wilbert, Tamica of Wharton, Texas, Bertha of Wharton, Texas, Dawn of Wharton, Texas and Shelicia of Wharton, Texas. He is also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews and 1 great -great nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ben Davis Funeral Home (1914 N Richmond Rd, Wharton, TX 77488). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (5506 FM102, Wharton, TX 77488).
