It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kowalik of Wharton, Texas, born in Montclair, New Jersey, who passed away on July 18, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zygmunt Kowalik and Josephine Metzner Kowalik; and his brother Andrew Kowalik. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Kowalik of Wharton; his sons, Tristan James Kowalik (Teri) of Wharton and Jacob Taylor Kowalik of Wharton; and his sister Eugenia Kowalik of Rockport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wharton EMS support group.
