She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronaldo Salas and Lena Olibo Salas; her siblings, Filimina Salas, Victoria Salas, Julia Salas, Apolonio Salas and Rumaldo Salas, Jr.; and her niece Rebeca Salas.
She is survived by: her husband Octavio Pena; her nieces, Gabriela Hurley (Will), Lina Salas (Lupe Moreno), Angelica Juarez (Oscar Garcia) and Victoria Salas of Wharton; her nephew Gabriel Salas (Mari); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda, Selena Schmidt, Oscar, Jr. and Andres Garcia of Wharton.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Catholic Church (515 E Boling Hwy, Wharton, TX 77488). A rosary was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (3511 E Alabama Rd, Wharton, TX 77488).
