She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Bartos Krenek and John Krenek; her husband Albert Welfel; and her daughters, Pris Ann Shimek and Peggy Marie Welfel.

She is survived by : her daughter Jane Lane of El Campo; her son-in-law Bobby Shimek of Wharton; her grandchildren, Amy (James Tabor) of Wharton, Jill (Jason Otto) of Wharton and Keith Lane of El Campo; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Kaitley Tabor, Avery and Landon Otto. She is also survived by her family and grandchildren.
