He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo Gutierrez and Maria Gutierrez; his son Jayme Gutierrez; and his siblings, Celia Almaquer, Simon Alameda, Sabina Gutierrez, Isabel Ibarra, Celestino Gutierrez and Severiano Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Gutierrez of Wharton; his son Javier Gutierrez (Sheri) of Van Vleck; his grandchildren, David, Camille and Bianca Gutierrez; and his siblings, Sara Sanchez, Senaida Herrera, Lupe Gonzales, Juanita Vallejo and Seferino Gutierrez.
