It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Walston of Whitehouse, Texas, born in Oakwood, Texas, who passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Walston and Molly Walston; his son Richard Walston; and his siblings, Joy Thompson and Benny Walston.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Walston; and his children, Jeff Walston (Eva) of Whitehouse, Shontay Sturrock (Darryl) of Hawkins, Patrick Walston (Tina) of Little Rock, Matt Brenk (Nancy) of Needville and Bart Brenk (Cristy) of Beasley. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
