He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Johnson and Bennie Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Childress; his son Scott Johnson (Stephanie); his grandsons, Benjamin and Andrew of Hillsboro; his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Childress (Debra) and Dori Romualdo (Alvin); his niece Nikki Lee; and his nephews, Jeremy Childress, Shane Childress and Bryce Childress.
