Louise Bartek Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 7, 2026, at the age of 89, Louise Bartek of Whitney, Texas, born in Cranfills Gap, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Raymond Bartek and Dave Ponewash; her son Darrell Ray; her grandson Tyson Bartek; her stepson Tim Ponewash; her siblings, Elvis and Joe Rohne; and her parents, Ingmar Rohne and Ada Mae Rohne.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Don Bartek (Michelle Bartek) and Brian Allan Bartek (Shannon Moneymaker Bartek); her stepchildren, Denise Blomquist (Mark Blomquist) and Darren Ponewash (Antoniette Ponewash); her grandchildren, Jessi Bartek, Stacy Bartek Nantz, Colton Bartek, Dakota Bartek, Adam Bartek, Jordyn Moneymaker, Joshua Ponewash, Zachary Ponewash, Ashlynn LaNear, Alicia Ransom, Matthew Ponewash, Jordyn Ponewash and Sarah Ponewash; and her great grandchildren, Kate Bartek, Jack Bartek and Rosalie LaNear.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Whitney, Texas, in honor of Louise's life and faith.
