He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his brothers, Eric and Greg. He is survived by: his brother Larry Windle (Sue); and his children, Melanie Lippert of Murfreesboro, TN, Diane Henne (Nathan) of New Orleans, LA, Keith Windle (Shona) of Grand Prairie, TX and Nathan Windle (Jennifer) of McDonough, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
