He is survived by: his wife LaWanda Bell Cates of Wichita Falls; his daughters, Christi Jones (Clint), Shana Jackson (Chad) and Amber Holt (Eric) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Tyler Griffin (Teran) of Marshall, TX, Taylor Griffin, Crue Jackson (Addyson) of El Paso, Crae Jackson (Brittany) of San Antonio and Creed Jackson (Belle); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Brylen, Brayden Craver, Elkin and Dolly Griffin; his sister Treva; and his sibling's children, Steven Sluder (Apple), Mandy (Lance Howard) of Bluegrove, TX, Gary Apple of Lafayette, LA and Melissa (Bryan Fant) of Lafayette, LA.
