We announce the death of Samuel Joseph Risner of Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 65. Samuel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Joseph Risner Sr.; his nephew Ryan Iglehart; and his pet Marcy. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Risner (Gable); his children, Ren Risner, Rikki Amos (Robbie Amos) of Alabama and Reese Risner; his granddaughter Rylie; his sisters, Andrea McEachren (Michael) and Kathleen Iglehart; and his nieces and nephews, Shanna Ruppert (Mike), Megan Jones (Taylor), Bradley Iglehart (Kayleigh) and Heath Iglehart (Stefanny). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
