He was predeceased by: his father Bill Cleavinger; and his grandparents, John Jennings, Dutch, Hazel Cleavinger and Eron Jennings of Canyon.

He is survived by: his mother June Cleavinger (Jennings) of Wildorado; his children, Codi Cleavinger (Cassie) of Nazareth, Ty Cleavinger (Annie) of Wildorado, Colt Cleavinger, Jake Cleavinger and Keri Beth Cleavinger of Canyon; and his grandchildren, Kinzi, Kaden, Kambri Cleavinger, Skylar, Swayde Cleavinger and Sealie Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to the Wildorado Cattle Company Scholarship Fund, PO Box 120, Wildorado, TX 79098.
