She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Schiappa; her children, Clint Bennett (Jennie) and Holly Downs (Jason); her grandchildren, Michaela Downs, Payton Downs, Payne Downs, Cheyenne Downs, Kayla Tate (Adam) and Luke Bennett; her brother John Smith (Dana Smith); her nieces, Kari Smith-Gibson (Noah), Amanda Smith and Emily Lero (Grant); her cousin Stacy Johnson; and her extended family, Frankie Schiappa, Helen Jo, George Wright, Ray, Cathy Breeden and Forrest Breeden. She is also survived by numerous cousins and countless friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church - Willis (200 N Thomason St, Willis, TX 77378). A reception was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Corinthian Point Yacht & Racquet Club (14008 Lakepoint Dr, Willis, TX 77318).
