““What a beautiful memorial to Ike this afternoon!! We truly celebrate his eternal life with Christ. I first met Ike when he was a DPS trooper and I was prosecuting DWIs as the county attorney. Ike was a no-nonsense cop. Everything to Ike was white and black, no gray. If he saw a person driving drunk, he stopped them and arrested them to get them off the road. That included local attorneys and in one instance, a Baptist minister. The law was the law, and no one was immune from justice.””
