He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Albrecht (Jimmy), Lauri Peake and Kimberly Rychlik (Bruce); his grandchildren, Christie Yates (Eric), J. J. Albrecht, Caulan Peake, Brianna Peake, Courtney Rychlik, Mandy Rychlik and Bailey Rychlik; and his great grandchildren, Samuel and Levi Yates.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Willis (12177 Interstate 45 N, Willis, TX 77318). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Garden Park Cemetery (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303).
