We bid farewell to Joseph Steven Kroll Jr. of Willis, Texas, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2025 at the age of 80. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kroll and Gertrude Kroll; his in-laws, Joe and Ruby Dobraski; his brother Dennis; and his siblings-in-law, Cora Kroll, Shirley Kroll and Lawrence Dobraski.
He is survived by: his wife Angie Kroll; his children, Steven Kroll (Kasie) and Stephanie Hanks (Robert); his grandchildren, McKayla Dunaway, Haylyn Hanks (Heath Garrett), J. T. Kroll and Harper Hanks; his great grandchild Declan Dunaway; his siblings, Jessie Kroll and Elizabeth Schwake (Jerry Schwake); and his siblings-in-law, Joni Dobraski and Mike Dobraski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Willis (10129 FM 1097, Willis, TX 77318). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
