It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Allan Ward in Willis, Texas, born in Stambaugh, Michigan, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Ward and Nydia Ward (King); and his siblings, Jerry, Dennis, Carol Jean and Pat.

He is survived by : his sibling Dale; his children, Stacey and Todd; his wife Donna Bertling; his children, David and Debbie; and his granddaughter Olivia.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metcalf Funeral Directors (1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (12177 Interstate 45 N, Willis, TX 77318). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the PIN Oak Cemetery (1984 County Rd 381, Cleveland, TX 77328).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the building fund at First Baptist Church Willis.
