As we bid adieu to Robert's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Robert has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. "Mugsy" Burns and Dorothy Mae Clem Burns; his sister Deborah Ann Burns (Wilma McKnight Burns); and his wife Wilma. He is survived by: his son Robert Stephen Burns (Kelli); his granddaughter Ella of Conroe, TX; his daughter Natalie Suzanne Burns Valdez (Ruben) of Houston, TX; and his stepdaughter Melissa Oram (Tom) of Lexington, KY..
They also served together in several charity organizations benefiting Montgomery County youth.
