It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra (Sam) Chappell of Willis, Texas, born in Hobart, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Troy Holder and Viola Holder. She is survived by : her husband Oran Chappell, Jr.; her daughter Donna Sue (Robert); her granddaughter Elizabeth; and her sisters, TeLoa Butler, Brenda (Robert Amos) and Alicia Holder.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Willis (10129 FM 1097, Willis, TX 77318). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Smith Memorial Park (10129 FM 1097, Willis, TX 77318).

Donations may be made to Willis Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
