She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Schmidt and Almira Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Corvan Nelson; her sons, Gary and Brian; her brother Bill Schmidt (Bonnie) of Fitchburg, Wisconsin; and her close friend Libby Afflerbach of Willow Park. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
