He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bond and Susie Bond (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Helen Bond of Willow Park; and his children, Bobby Thompson Jr. (Diana), Paula Brown (Jody) and Amy Bain (Joey). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great‑grandchildren; and two eagerly awaited great‑grandchildren.
