She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodger Burdick and Caroline Burdick (Walter); her husband Howell Townsend; and her brother Robert "Bob" Burdick. She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Simpson (Baxter); her grandchildren, Donyel Simpson, Stephanie Simpson-Potter and Travis Hal Simpson; her great grandchildren, Callie Simpson-Potter and Collin Simpson-Potter; her great great grandchild Dallas Potter; and her sisters, Barbara Chamberlain (J. R.) and Beverly Wipert (Larry).
