She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Hannibal Hays and Alma Lorene Pettypool Hays; and her sister Sheila Hays. She is survived by : her siblings, Charles K. Hays and Wilma; her brother-in-law Ralph Simpson; and her children, Tony Simmons, Tim Simmons, Andy Simmons (Valerie) and Alicia Mailes. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and their partners, and 10 great grandchildren.
