He was predeceased by : his parents, James Leroy and Mary Frances Morris Burnett; his brothers, Steven James Burnett and Kenneth Burnett; and his grandchildren, Nicole Burnett and Taylor Wayne Burnett.
He is survived by : his wife Sandy Burnett of Wills Point, TX; his sons, Shane Burnett of Wills Point, TX, Jeremy Burnett (Michelle) of Wills Point, TX, Matthew and Jason Wellman; his brother Rocky Burnett (Lupe) of Irving, TX; his grandchildren, Dylan Burnett, Kalie Burnett, Justin Burnett (JT), Luke Wellman, Cain Wellman, Blake Wellman, Matthew Wellman, Jr. and Gracie Wellman; and his great grandchild Aidan Lenaway. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
