He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Paul Vasterling and Marion Catherine Faber Vasterling. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Vasterling of Wills Point, Texas; his sons, Steven Vasterling (Holly) of Forney and Gregory Vasterling (Emily) of Forney, Texas; his grandchildren, Anna Vasterling, Brady Vasterling and Connor Vasterling; and his siblings, Daniel Vasterling (Merry) of St. Petersburg, Florida, Gail Raabe (Jeff) of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Glenn Vasterling (Jackie) of Plant City, Florida. He is also survived by four nieces.
A rosary was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (702 N Frances St, Terrell, TX 75160). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
