He was predeceased by: his wife Roxie Renee Merriott; his parents, Roy Jackson Merriott and Wanda Lou Frazier Merriott; his brother Brett Merriott; and his niece Amy Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Jerome Brown (Johnna), Jennifer Burchfield and DeAnn Johnson; his grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Landen Brown, Jaylen Reich, Natalie Johnson and Andrew Johnson; his nephew Adam Merriott (Shalla Laws); his niece Angela Kreil (Curt); his great-nephew Rhett Merriott; and his great-nieces, Morgan McFarland, Kendall Brown and Abby Kreil.
