She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Joseph Berend and Della Rose Zihlman Berend; her stepfather James Allen; her brother Delbert Berend; and her sisters-in-law, Suzanne Berend and Cindy Berend.
She is survived by: her children, Dedra Southard (Preston) of Windthorst and Dewayne Aylor (Andria) of Henrietta; her siblings, Rick Berend (Carolyn) of Windthorst, Mike Berend (Terri) of Graham, Donnie Berend of Iowa Park, Lonny Berend (Leann) of Windthorst and Darla Schroeder (Cletus) of Windthorst; her sister-in-law Debbie Berend of Lake Kickapoo; her grandchildren, Justin, Braden, Macie, Joshua, Jordan, Tyler, Kristina and Seth; and her great grandchildren, Kinzy, Karly, Brantleigh, Logan, Noah, Ryder, Kade, Addy, Ian, Wyatt, Waylon, Walker, Lyric and Lilly. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
