He is survived by: his mother Bernadine Catherine Hemmi Berend of Windthorst; his wife Sherry Wolf of Windthorst; his children, Craig Berend (Julie) of Windthorst, Doug Berend (Renee) of Windthorst and Erin Green (Brad) of Iowa Park; his grandchildren, Cason Green, Jenna Green, Ella Berend, Graham Berend, Chris, Meegan Weaver, Sam and Clyde Bryant; his great grandchildren, Aydin Weaver, Calyn Weaver, Maggie Weaver, Clay Bryant and Bryson Bryant; and his siblings, Larry Berend (Carol) of Windthorst, Vincent Berend (Rena) of Houston, Ronald Berend (Tonya) of Windthorst and Mary Blagg (David) of Scotland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (302 St Marys St, Windthorst, TX 76389). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
